excellent central base for exploring athens' art and parks

I loved how close I was to the Georgia Museum of Art, just a bit over 2 km away, and the beautiful Dudley Park, which was perfect for an afternoon stroll. it really made my weekend adventure in Athens special, and the staff was super helpful with local dining suggestions to make my stay even more enjoyable.

The elevator broke down two out of the three days we stayed, leaving us to haul luggage and a baby up six flights of stairs, which was no small feat. Additionally, the advertising for the in-house dining didn't match reality. the food choices were limited, took ages to arrive, and came out wrong. Not exactly what you’d expect when planning a nice dinner at the hotel.

I enjoyed my recent stay—the King Room with Sofa Bed was cozy, and the bathroom was super spacious! The hotel had a nice lounge area and a great outdoor space to relax after a long day. Parking was a bit tricky, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience! 😊

The rooftop bar has great sunset views, but service was really slow. Breakfast spread exceeded expectations with homemade biscuits and plenty of options. Parking was confusing and hard to navigate.

The beds were super comfortable, and we loved the breakfast spread. We even managed to hit up the 40 Watt Club and enjoy some live music. The parking was easy, and the kitchen stays open late for any late-night snacks.

The only downside was that housekeeping left a dirty rag in our bathroom and didn't finish cleaning properly.

Exceptional convenience for those visiting nearby medical facilities. The staff was incredibly accommodating, working to ensure a meal was ready for late arrivals. Well-maintained rooms provided a comfortable stay. Breakfast offered extensive options, including gluten-free selections, making it one of the best I’ve experienced while traveling.

my stay at hyatt place was delightful! the staff at late-night checkout was super efficient and courteous, making everything smooth. the breakfast buffet was a true highlight—fresh, varied, and tasty! it was such a pleasant surprise after a long day of travel. the king room was clean and comfy, definitely updated, making it feel welcoming.

Staying here with my grandkids was fantastic! The staff was welcoming, and the rooftop bar was a hit for sunset views. We also enjoyed breakfast. it was organized with plenty of delicious options for everyone. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring downtown.

For dads, it would be great if the elevator was more reliable. Climbing stairs with little ones and family bags was a bit much.
